Psychologically informed Executive Coaching
and Leadership Development
As a Chartered Research Psychologist, I have an extensive background bringing research into practice for local authorities, charities and in education and corporate sectors. As a leadership development coach, my main focus is working with individuals in challenging leadership roles, or with those about to step into them, both in the private, public and third sectors.
Today’s fast paced, complex workplace environments can leave leaders feeling overwhelmed, stressed and isolated. Psychologically informed coaching with me provides a safe and reflective space to develop and understand what’s going on 'beneath the surface' in your role and across your teams and organisation. Common and costly issues than our conversations help with including stopping stress and burnout and finding solutions to difficult team dynamics.
My typical coaching contracts are for six one-to-one sessions of ninety minutes each, taking place at monthly intervals, giving us time to work together on leadership goals, with new insights or 'beneath the surface' themes often emerging during our conversations.
Starting with a free discovery call, we work together to set goals addressing your current specific challenges, identify your areas of strength, social support and growth opportunities, and to develop actions and plans to make measurable progress toward those goals. We pay attention to what emerges in our conversations that wouldn’t necessary have predicted, bringing new and productive ways to lead and increased value for stakeholders.
I am a Chartered Research Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological society, and am now also working as Leadership Development and Executive Coach. I'm currently completing the internationally recognised Senior Practitioner accreditation with the European Mentoring Coaching Council (EMCC) on Tavistock Consulting’s Executive Coaching Programme and work strictly to the EMCC codes of ethical practice. I am a member of the British Psychological Society's Division of Coaching Psychology.

Working together to develop your self-awareness and work towards your goals in the context of often complex workplace dynamics. Consistently locating your individual experiences within your leadership role, and the wider organisation.
Helping you make sense of emotions and patterns that are present for you. This includes exploring the unconscious processes and the ‘below the surface’ feelings, which can be better understood and contained by talking together.
Working in the ‘here-and-now’ of our sessions. Offering well timed, accurate and authentic reflections of your thoughts and feelings to further develop your understanding.
Incorporating regular review conversations, especially when developmental goals or organisational contexts change over our time. This leads overall to the greater integration of your thoughts and feelings into clear actions and a shift in focus from the presenting issues to solutions and new ways of working.
